Extended Warranty Terms Goranked.gg

1) Definitions and Parties
Platform / We / GoRanked.gg — an online marketplace and service for selling digital accounts and related services.
Seller — depending on the specific item:
- either the Platform itself (the account is sold directly by GoRanked.gg),
- or a third-party seller (merchant) listing an offer via the GoRanked.gg marketplace.
In all cases, the obligations under the Additional Warranty are always borne by GoRanked.gg as the Platform, regardless of who the Seller of the account is.
Buyer / You — an individual or legal entity that placed an order on the Platform.
Account — digital access (login/password/tokens/linkages) to a game/service purchased on the Platform.
Additional Warranty — a paid GoRanked.gg service that expands the scope and duration of the basic warranty for an account under this Policy.
Transfer Date — the moment an order is moved to the “Completed” status (or similar) and the access details are provided to the Buyer in the user dashboard/order chat.
Account Security Instructions — a set of recommendations for safe account usage provided by the Seller and/or GoRanked.gg to the Buyer (via the dashboard, order chat, e-mail, or other official channels). Includes a list of actions to perform and/or avoid to reduce the risk of account bans, recovery by the previous owner, and other negative consequences.
This service is not insurance and does not replace any consumer rights provided by law. It regulates voluntary additional obligations of GoRanked.gg beyond the basic warranty.
2) Scope
The service applies only to orders in the “Accounts” category. It does not apply to boosting/coaching/payouts/other digital services.
The Additional Warranty is effective from the Transfer Date and is lifetime (indefinite) — meaning it applies without a time limit as long as the account exists and there remains a technical ability to use it, provided this Policy is complied with.
The compensation amount under the lifetime warranty depends on the time elapsed since the Transfer Date, in accordance with Section 7 (“Coverage Period and Amount”).
The service applies to each specific account and is not transferable in the event of resale to third parties.
If the account is resold, rented out, or gifted to third parties, the Additional Warranty for that account terminates even if it is lifetime.
3) Plan and Price
Goranked Protect Lifetime (Lifetime Warranty)
Service price: 15% of the account price at the time of purchase.
The coverage schedule (based on the account price at purchase) is provided in Section 7.
The service price is shown and paid during checkout (checkbox “Additional Warranty”). After the access details are delivered, purchasing the Additional Warranty is not possible.
The cost of the Additional Warranty is payment for a separate service and is non-refundable in all cases, including if the account is later refunded, the order is canceled, or coverage is denied.
4) What is Covered
The Additional Warranty covers loss of the ability to use the account for its intended purpose, where the cause is not related to violations by the Buyer, including:
- Account return/revocation by the previous owner (recall), if logins/e-mail/phone were changed according to our recommendations but access was still lost.
- Account ban due to external reasons beyond the Buyer’s control (for example, an erroneous mass ban wave by the publisher/platform), provided there is no prohibited software or other violations on your side.
- Loss of access to critical functions (for example, inability to log in due to previously undiscovered regional/appeal restrictions), if there were no such restrictions at the time of purchase and they appeared later through no fault of yours.
For the purposes of this Additional Warranty, “loss of the ability to use the account for its intended purpose” means situations where:
- You cannot authenticate in the game/on the platform at all, or
- Access to a key game mode or functionality explicitly stated in the account description (for example, a specific ranked mode) is completely blocked for reasons not related to your actions.
Partial limitations of secondary functions (store, chat, in-game market, etc.) while you can still log in and play the main mode for which the account was purchased are not considered a covered case and are assessed individually.
Bans related to the account’s history before purchase (violations by previous owners) are not considered Buyer violations. However, GoRanked.gg reserves the right to assess such cases individually based on risks, technical data, and publisher policy, and may deny compensation if game/anti-cheat data indicates the account was already in a high-risk state (sanctions, strikes, warnings, etc.).
5) What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)
The service does not apply if one or more of the following circumstances occurred:
- Use of cheats, scripts, injectors, macros, anti-cheat bypass software, or any other prohibited software/methods (including but not limited to VAC/Overwatch/FaceIt/ESEA/BE/EAC/kernel anti-cheats and equivalents). Any bans caused by cheats on the Buyer’s side are not covered.
- Violation of the game/platform EULA/ToS: smurfing, boosting/account sharing/resale, fraud, multi-accounting, bypassing regional/pricing restrictions, toxic behavior, etc.
- Changing/removing security settings recommended by GoRanked.gg (2FA, backup codes, linkages), or failing to follow the safe e-mail/password change instructions within 24 hours from the Transfer Date.
- Providing the account to third parties (sharing/renting/selling/gifting) or publicly disclosing account details.
- Damage related to in-game values/progress/rating points, including MMR/rank decrease, loss of inventory or stats, if account access is still retained.
- Bans triggered by changes in hardware/network environment (hardware ban identifiers, VPN/proxy/datacenter IP, “suspicious activity” due to abrupt login geography change, etc.).
- Mass actions by the publisher/platform fully or partially stopping the game/modes/services (regional shutdown, end of support, disabling a specific mode by the publisher, mass account bans) are not considered a covered case if the technical ability to access/use the game depends on publisher decisions rather than the account’s condition.
- Material non-compliance with the Account Security Instructions (or their key points), if game/anti-cheat data, logs, correspondence, or other technical information indicates that violating those recommendations was the likely cause or a significant contributing factor to the negative event (ban, recall, etc.).
- Attempted deception/fraud when filing a claim: forged screenshots/videos, concealing the use of third-party software, providing knowingly false information.
6) Scope and Form of Compensation
If a covered case occurs, Goranked.gg may, at its discretion, provide one of the following:
- Replacement with a similar account (by parameters/price) — if a suitable offer is available.
- Refund in the amount of the coverage percentage as of the event date. The refund is issued:
- To the GoRanked.gg balance (default) with the ability to pay for other goods/services later;
- To the original payment method — in certain cases and where technically possible, minus payment system fees.
The total compensation amount cannot exceed 100% of the account purchase price. After a replacement or refund is provided for an account, the Additional Warranty for that account terminates.
The account price used for compensation is fixed in the order currency at the time of purchase and does not include the cost of the Additional Warranty or other service fees. If the refund is made in a different currency, exchange rate differences may occur due to the payment system/bank; GoRanked.gg does not compensate such differences.
7) Coverage Period and Amount (Calculation)
Coverage is calculated from the account price at purchase (excluding the Additional Warranty cost). The “account price at purchase” means the actual amount paid after promo codes, discounts, and balance (if used), excluding the Additional Warranty and other service fees.
Event Date
For applying coverage percentages, the “event date” is:
- the date the first system message about a ban/login error appeared, or
- the date of an official notice from the publisher/platform (e-mail/in-client message) — whichever happened earlier and can be documented.
If the exact date cannot be determined from the provided materials, GoRanked.gg may determine the event date based on logs, login history, and other technical data.
Months are counted as calendar months from the Transfer Date.
Protect Lifetime — Coverage Schedule
- Month 1: 100%
- Months 2–6: 80%
- Months 7–12: 60%
- From month 13 and onwards (lifetime): 40%
8) Conditions to Maintain Warranty Coverage
Within 24 hours from the Transfer Date you must:
- Carefully review the Account Security Instructions from the seller
- Change all passwords
- Enable 2FA
- Remove the previous owner’s recovery methods
- Link your own recovery methods
The Buyer also agrees to review and follow the Account Security Instructions provided by the Seller and/or GoRanked.gg for the specific order. If there is any conflict between general recommendations on the website and the individual Account Security Instructions, the individual instructions stated in the product listing and/or order chat prevail.
Keep account details confidential and contact support only via the dashboard/official channels.
GoRanked.gg may request evidence that the above actions were completed (screenshots of security settings, e-mails confirming e-mail/password changes, login history, etc.). Failure to provide such evidence upon request may be treated as non-compliance with the Additional Warranty conditions.
Violation of any of the above points, as well as material non-compliance with the Account Security Instructions, may result in denial of compensation if it is established that such violation:
- materially increased the risk of losing access to the account, and/or
- with a high degree of probability caused (or was one of the key factors in) the negative event (ban, recall, inability to log in, etc.).

10) Limitations and Document Priority
This Policy supplements but does not replace the Public Offer, Refund Policy, Marketplace Rules, and Privacy Policy of GoRanked.gg. In case of conflict, the Public Offer prevails.
Special terms may apply to certain games/platforms/sellers — they are stated in the product listing/order and prevail where explicitly specified.
GoRanked.gg reserves the right to temporarily suspend offering the Additional Warranty for specific games/modes in case of mass technical incidents on the publisher/platform side.
